Advertising Disclosure
Tool Nectar is free to use because it is supported by advertising. This page explains how that works, plainly, and what it does and doesn't influence.
Full Transparency
Advertising funds the site, but it never influences our tools or content.
How We're Funded
We do not charge for any calculator or PDF tool on this site, and we don't require an account or payment to use them. Instead, the site is funded primarily through display advertising, including Google AdSense. When you view a page, Google (and potentially other approved ad partners) may display an ad in a designated space on that page.
Google AdSense
Google AdSense is a third-party advertising service. It may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites — see our Privacy Policy for the cookie details and your opt-out options. We do not hand-pick individual ads; Google's system selects them automatically based on page content and, where permitted, your ad preferences.
Editorial Independence
Advertising placement never influences which formulas we use, what a calculator's result says, or what our guides and FAQ answers recommend. No advertiser reviews or approves our content before publication, and no calculator's math or explanation is written to favor an advertiser. The team that maintains the calculators has no visibility into which specific ads are shown on any given page — that's determined automatically by Google's ad system.
Sponsored Content and Affiliate Links
At this time, Tool Nectar does not run sponsored articles, paid placements, or affiliate-link content. If that ever changes, any sponsored or affiliate content will be clearly labeled as such at the point you encounter it, in line with FTC endorsement guidelines — not disclosed only here.
Ad Placement and User Experience
We aim to keep ad placements clearly distinguishable from tool interfaces and editorial content, and sized so they don't cause layout shift while a page loads. If you ever find an ad that is confusing, misleading, or disguised as part of a tool's interface, please report it to us — that's not the experience we intend.
Your Choices
