Disclaimer
The calculators, PDF tools, and articles on Tool Nectar are provided for general informational and educational purposes only. This page explains, plainly, what that means in practice.
Know the Limits
Real formulas, but always confirm decisions that matter with a qualified professional.
Our Calculators Use Real Formulas — But Formulas Aren't Advice
Every calculator on this site runs a standard, published formula (see our About page for specifics on which ones), and we test each tool against known reference values before publishing it. That means the math itself is sound. What it doesn't mean is that the output is a recommendation. A calculator has no knowledge of your full financial picture, medical history, local regulations, or the specific fine print of your loan, insurance policy, or tax situation — a number, entered by you, run through a formula, is only ever as complete as the inputs and the formula allow.
Financial Calculators
Mortgage, loan, investment, retirement, and tax calculators on this site provide estimates for planning purposes. They do not account for every fee, discount point, local tax rule, or lender-specific underwriting decision that could change your actual numbers. Before making a financial commitment, confirm the real numbers with your lender, a licensed financial advisor, or a certified tax professional.
Health and Fitness Calculators
BMI, calorie, body-fat, pregnancy, and other health calculators use established formulas (for example, Harris-Benedict, Mifflin-St Jeor, Jackson-Pollock, or the Siri equation, depending on the tool) but cannot diagnose, treat, or replace a consultation with a physician, registered dietitian, or other qualified healthcare provider. Never delay seeking medical advice because of a result you saw on this site.
Math, Science, and Utility Calculators
These tools are built to be mathematically accurate for the inputs you provide. Double-check any figure you plan to submit for academic credit, an exam, or professional/engineering work against your course material or governing standard, since conventions (rounding rules, significant figures, formula variants) can differ by context.
PDF and File Tools
Our PDF and image tools (merge, split, compress, convert, and related tools) process the file exactly as uploaded. We do not manually review output for accuracy — always check the resulting file before relying on it for something important (a legal filing, a job application, a printed document), since conversion between formats can occasionally alter formatting.
No Professional Relationship Is Created
Using this site does not create a financial-advisory, medical, legal, tax, or other professional-client relationship between you and Tool Nectar. We are not a licensed financial advisor, dietitian, physician, accountant, or attorney.
