Split PDF

After upload, the tool reads the PDF's total page count so you can choose how to split it: "Individual" creates one file per page, "Every N pages" creates equal-sized chunks (e.g. every 5 pages), and "Ranges" lets you specify custom page groups like 1-3, 4-10, 11-15.

For each requested piece, the relevant pages are imported into a new PDF document preserving their original size, orientation, and content — no re-rendering or quality loss.

When splitting produces more than one output file, they are bundled together into a single ZIP download so you get everything in one file.

Your files are uploaded over an encrypted (SSL) connection. We don't store, read, or share the contents of your files — they're processed to generate your result and are not retained on our servers afterward.

• Pulling one chapter out of a large scanned textbook to share with a study group.
• Separating a multi-invoice batch PDF into individual invoices for separate accounting entries.
• Extracting a single signed page from a larger contract to send as proof of signature.

• Specifying an inclusive page range incorrectly (e.g., entering 5-10 expecting 5 pages when it actually returns 6, pages 5 through 10 inclusive).
• Splitting a file and losing track of which output piece corresponds to which section — download and rename each split file immediately rather than after downloading several.

• Use Organize PDF first if you need to both reorder and split — it's faster than splitting into many single pages and re-merging them in a new order.
• If you only need to remove a few pages rather than extract a range, Remove Pages is usually faster than Split.
