How to PDF to PowerPoint
This conversion happens entirely client-side: nothing is uploaded to a server. PDF.js renders each page of your PDF onto an HTML canvas locally in your browser, the same rendering engine used by the PDF to JPG tool.
Each rendered page is exported from its canvas as a JPEG image, then PptxGenJS — a JavaScript library for building PowerPoint files — creates one new slide per page and places that page's image full-bleed across the slide.
Because each slide is really a full-page picture rather than editable text and shapes, the visual layout of the original PDF is preserved exactly, but text on the slides is not selectable or editable inside PowerPoint afterward — think of it as "PDF pages inside a PPTX shell."
Safe & Secure
Your files are uploaded over an encrypted (SSL) connection. We don't store, read, or share the contents of your files — they're processed to generate your result and are not retained on our servers afterward.
Who Uses PDF to PowerPoint?
- Turning a PDF handout back into editable slides to update and re-present it.
- Recovering a presentation whose original PowerPoint file was lost, from a PDF export.
- Repurposing a PDF report's pages as a starting point for a new slide deck.
Limitations to Avoid
- Expecting fully editable text boxes matching the original PowerPoint structure — depending on how the source PDF was created, some content may convert as an image rather than editable text and shapes.
- Not checking slide dimensions/aspect ratio after conversion, especially for PDFs not originally created from a 16:9 or 4:3 presentation.
Tips for Best Results
- If the PDF was originally exported from PowerPoint, conversion back tends to be far more accurate than converting a PDF that was never a presentation to begin with.
- Review each converted slide's text boxes for correct positioning before presenting from the result.
Privacy Commitment
